Lavender, Nettles & Cedar Dog Shampoo Bar

We craft each bar with the same high-quality, plant-infused oils we use for our human soaps, but formulated especially for dogs—no harsh detergents, no unnecessary additives, just pure, gentle cleansing straight from the forest and field.

Formulated with love for dogs with sensitive skin, this gentle shampoo bar brings together three of our favorite plant allies for our four-legged companions. Lavender soothes skin and nerves alike—calming irritation, easing stress, and helping to naturally repel fleas and mosquitoes. Stinging nettles, one of our most trusted herbal friends, support healthy skin and coat while offering allergy relief for pups who need a little extra care. And western red cedar—gathered from fallen or gifted branches after storms—adds its earthy, forest-fresh scent while helping keep pesky bugs at bay. Western red cedar is known here as the Tree of Life, a wise and generous elder who shelters, protects, and watches over this land (and all the creatures who roam it). We’re grateful to share its gifts with our canine friends—so that bath time can be less about “getting it over with” and more about a loving ritual of care between you and your loyal companion.

Clean fur, happy skin, and the soft scent of lavender and cedar in the air—because our dogs deserve forest magic too. 

To use: Rub the wet shampoo bar across wet dog’s fur, avoiding sensitve areas such as eyes, nose, & mouth. Rub until you get the amount of lather you’re happy with. Rinse with water. Repeat if necessary.

Important: If your dog’s body doesn’t like these plants, stop using the shampoo bar. Also, do not use this bar on a cat. It was not formulated for cats. Besides, bathing cats has been known to be hazardous to human health.

Storage and life of the bar: Store the bar where it can dry quickly and where it doesn't sit in water. How long your dog shampoo bar lasts also depends on factors such as how much lather you need/like, how big your dog is and how long and thick your dog's hair is, and how often your dog rolls in smelly things or gets stinky.

Ingredients:  Lavender, western red cedar & stinging nettles infused in organic  olive oil, organic coconut oil, shea butter, castor oil, sodium hydroxide, sodium lactate, distilled water, red clay, lavender essential oil.

Medical disclaimer: This bar contains the same quality ingredients that our human shampoo bars have, but they've been specially formulated for dogs using locally grown & loved-by-our-ancestors-and-herbalists plants known to be loving to and agreeable to most dogs. Stop using the bar if your particular dog doesn't respond well to the ingredients.
