Itchy Skin Soother salve
$18.00We made this offering with fresh local plants and herbs to soothe temporarily itchy skin brought on by dry skin, insect bites and stings, temporary hives and rashes, tight or scratchy clothing, and several neighbors use it for eczema. See your doctor, nurse practitioner, naturopath, or clinical herbalist whenever itchy skin persists, precious people, because itching can also signify an underlying health condition.
To use: Apply to itchy skin using well-washed clean fingers, as needed. Stop using if your skin doesn't like this salve. Visit your healthcare professional if itching persists.
Ingredients: Organic olive oil infused with local plantain leaf (Plantago lanceolata), stinging nettles (Urtica dioica), peppermint (Mentha piperita), chickweed (Stellaria media), calendula (Calendula officinalis), and holy basil tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum), plus local beeswax.
Relationships and sourcing: We work as grateful learners and partners with local plants, flowers, lichens, herbs, forests, and fields who we consider kin, elders, and friends. The plants in this offering were either grown here at Ritual Mischief or ethically gathered on friends' trusted lands--by us--on Whidbey Island. We receive local beeswax from Hive Harvest on the Olympic Peninsula. Sometimes a batch is topped off with a tiny bit of local beeswax from Brambleberry, located in Bellingham, WA.
