Treat your guests right and the earth right too (local plant-infused soaps with no weird chemicals and no plastic either). You can also use this as a sample set to try all the soaps before committing to larger bars, or you can use the bars as travel soaps. The guest soap set comes in a lovely reusable linen drawstring bag. This set includes one each of eight of our favorite soaps of the season or year. Right now this includes one:
- Pure Olive Oil soap (castile soap)
- Whidbey Green Gardener's soap
- Kitchen Garden Rose soap
- Comfort Bar soap (our roses, calendula, dandelion flowers plus local goats milk)
- Rest soap
- Rise & Shine soap
- Rose Aloe facial bar
- Forest Bathing soap
Storage and life of the bars: To extend the life of the bars, store them where they can dry quickly after use and where they don't get regular spray from a faucet. Placing the bar on a soap holder or on a folded up wash cloth are both lovely ideas.
Size: Each guest soap is roughly .4 ounces to a 1 ounce bar (most are .5 ounce) and each 8-soap set as a whole is between 4 and 5 ounces. All soaps are made by hand in small batches and are individually hand cut by cool women. We're not machines, people, nor do we want to be. :-)

About our use of essential oils: We use essential oils sparingly and reverently, because they take a lot of plant material to create. We get all of our essential oils from trusted local area farmers (Lavender Wind Farm, Whidbey Herbals) and shops (Star Store Two in Langley, Brambleberry in Bellingham) so we can talk to trusted people and understand what went in to making them and make sure they’re sustainably sourced. Because all of our soaps have our own local plant-infused olive oils as their base, they already have beloved local plants (and their scents as they infuse into the olive oil) in them. A tiny amount of essential oils are used to round out the scent. Most of our sensitive-skinned friends have no problem with using any of our soaps. That said, if you want zero essential oils, right now we have Gentle Goat, Pure Olive Oil, Lavender Olive Oil, and Comfrey Olive Oil soaps and an Unscented Dandelion Nettle shampoo bar. I can make up a special no-essential oils Guest Soap set upon request.
